Blue Cheese & Bacon Fettucini

Ingredients   

  • 4 Rashers Bacon, Diced
  • 1 Brown Onion, Sliced
  • 2 Spring Onion, Finely Sliced
  • 2 Cloves Garlic, Finely Chopped
  • 300g Blue Cheese, Crumbled
  • 1 Packet Fettuccini
  • Salt & Pepper
SERVES 4

Cooking Method

  1. Bring a pot of water the boil and add the fettuccini with a pinch of salt and some olive oil
  2. While waiting for the pasta to cook, in a frying pan add some oil, the bacon, onion and garlic and fry until golden
  3. When your pasta is cooked, add it to the pan as well as the cheese and mix through until all the blue cheese has melted and you have a delicious creamy pasta
  4. Serve up into bowls and add your spring onions and enjoy with a glass of wine- Delicious!

This pasta is so easy to make and has very few ingredients but is so packed with flavour, its a definite winner and is best enjoyed with a nice glass of wine!
